Greetings. It’s about that time of year when we would normally be sending out a call for papers for the Pittsburgh Area Philosophy Colloquium in the fall. However, this year, the program coordinators have decided to put the PAPC on hiatus for a year. We are a small group doing most of the core work, and some of our key members have been away for much of the last year on sabbatical or other projects. Rather than trying to rush something together shorthanded, we will simply invite everyone to submit papers to us next fall and winter for what will undoubtedly be a fine meeting in 2016. Check back here for more details later.
The PAPC was developed in part to foster a sense of academic community throughout our region and welcome intriguing work from farther afield. One of the most welcome features of the work we have done has been the degree to which others have volunteered and supported this work every year. We appreciate those contributions, value that work, and we hope to see you all again soon.
